IS THE PREGNANCY VIABLE?

Before you pay for an abortion, rule out a naturally occurring miscarriage. If the pregnancy is not viable, the abortion pill should not be taken. A positive pregnancy test is an indicator of pregnancy, not a verification. We offer free pregnancy confirmations with ultrasound.

IS THE PREGNANCY OCCURRING IN THE UTERUS?

It’s important to rule out an ectopic pregnancy through an ultrasound before you buy or take abortion pills because findings could make an abortion unnecessary.

DO YOU KNOW EXACTLY HOW FAR ALONG YOU ARE?

The FDA has approved for the abortion pill to be taken only during the first 70 days of pregnancy. We can provide a free ultrasound to determine how far along you are and then talk through all the pregnancy options that apply to your situation.

HAVE YOU BEEN TESTED FOR A STI/STD?

If you are considering an abortion procedure, ruling out a sexually transmitted infection or disease can prevent further infection or complications. We provide comprehensive STI/STD and UTI testing for free. All clients who test positive for an STI/STD or UTI can receive antibiotic treatment from Elevation Women’s Healthcare free of charge, with no insurance needed.

DO YOU KNOW YOUR RH FACTOR?

This can determine if you need a RhoGAM shot after an abortion is complete. If you are Rh-negative, we can provide a referral to our network of local OB-GYNs.
