Free Screening and Nurse Consultation
Every person's body is different. Start by discussing your health history, learn what could make you ineligible for abortion pills (Mifepristone and Misoprostol), get answers on what to expect during and after an abortion, schedule an ultrasound to know how far along you are, and learn if the pregnancy is growing on its own (viable).
Your initial appointment includes free pregnancy testing. If positive, we can confirm results with a free ultrasound scan and review your options, answer questions on abortion, share local resources, and more.

Whether you've had a positive home pregnancy test or just pregnancy symptoms, it's always a good idea to verify with lab-grade testing. "A nurse can then provide additional education based on the results.

An ultrasound is going to give you the answers you need to move forward with confidence. It can also rule out options or give you more information on what you need to do before or after a decision.

Is the pregnancy viable?
A positive pregnancy test is an indicator of pregnancy, not a verification. Before you pay for an abortion, rule out a naturally occurring miscarriage. If the pregnancy is not viable, the abortion pill should not be taken.
Is the pregnancy occurring in the uterus?
It's important to know where the pregnancy is located and rule out an ectopic pregnancy, a life-threatening condition that requires immediate emergency medical attention. If the pregnancy is ectopic, you cannot take abortion pills and would not require a surgical abortion. This is one of the reasons it is not safe to self-induce a miscarriage or "spontaneous abortion" at home.
Have you been tested for STIs? Do you have an IUD in place?
If you are considering an abortion procedure, ruling out an STI can prevent further infection or complications. We can provide testing for the most common STIs at no cost to you. If you have an IUD, it will need to be removed before an abortion procedure.

The information found during an ultrasound can impact your eligibility, decisions, and future reproductive health. While we do not provide or refer for abortion services at our clinic, we offer a free ultrasound to confirm your pregnancy and give you the answers you need.
